No they wouldn't. They would have to play all their games like everyone else. They wouldn't be automatically given the trophy if they joined the Pro 12.

who said they would be given the trophy?

you can be the best team and not win the league. they are better coached and have more talent than most teams in the pro 12, thats undeniable.

I've literally nothing better to do at work. So I figured out how to use the table tags. There was me with my fancy software engineering code and its a button and a bunch of pipes :o

    Nice

I'm not sure you need to do the | anymore. I haven't been on my last few tables.

  • To make that table really sexy, insert '=head' into the opening table tag.
    i.e,

Ruddock, Jordi, Heaslip. With SOB out thats about as strong a backrow Leinster could put out.

    Is VDF injured?

I don't think Murphy is much use at 7.

VdF will tackle all day and slow ball down, I don't rate Murphy particularly, maybe he'd be good at 8 but he'll be waiting a while to get his game there.

If he starts I'd be giving Munster the slight advantage in the backrow

I'd still say it would be fairly even, but Stander will undoubtedly have improved having spent a few month in camp learning from Heaslip. It will take a while for him to work on his overall fitness, but the weaknesses he displays at 8 probably won't be as glaring after the mentoring during the 6N.

Are you kidding me? Stander has always had trouble at the set piece and this is an area where Heaslip is probably the best in Europe.

Stander also has issues with fitness as shown during the 6n.

After all the crap the last few pages and this is trolling?

    Ah lad wise up.

Thats always been the way, but on mobile view you can change to "desktop" view which will resolve this with some zooming out.

When the | is used the columns show up fine on mobile.

If you want to use fancy stuff like sorting on a particular column, you need the pipes.

For the one above it was table="head;sort=2d". It doesn't work if you don't pipe it.

  • We need a Table "How To" sticky imo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,232 ✭✭✭DGRulz

That would have been nice when I was doing it earlier alright. Couldn't find anything online for vBulletin table tags, eventually found a post from a couple of years ago while searching boards that said to use the pipe and figured the rest out myself. So yea ... a sticky table would be nice. Everyone that wants to do match previews will have no choice but to have super sexy tables.

    Back to Leinster ...

Or make the forum resolution ready so those lacking excel skills can use image based software... just saying

Where did you hear that Murphy is starting?

He's an OK 7, much better at 6 or 8.

Not a bad third choice 7 though. Ruddock, Murphy, Heaslip is still some unit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Is Murphy fully fit? Hope he is if he's starting, if not then wouldn't mind seeing Leavy, thought he was great against Ospreys.

Jordi at 7 is not good enough. Rather see SOB, JVDF & Leavy there ahead of him.

well 2 of them are injured so they are out and Leavy has looked good alright but Jordi is an international and has looked a bit better lately so I can see the logic.

murphy has almost always been below the standard required at 7

but sure he is an "international" that will really help when he is getting blown away at the breakdown by TOD and Stander.

brokenhooker in dismally negative post shocker.

I haven't heard anything about an injury to JVDF (he was training during the week) and the people who said that they heard Murphy is starting have declined to tell us where they heard it, but still, if our third-choice seven is Jordi Murphy, I'll take that any day of the week and so would every other club in Europe.

O'Brien is also back training so maybe he'll bench tomorrow. Surely no-one could b*tch about that.
