Hi everyone,

I need to get my 18ct white gold rings resized down, and dipped. I have been to jewellers and have recieved quotes for €110+! Then I spotted this place online http://www.jewelleryrepair.ie/price-list/
They are less than half the price! Does anyone have experience with them?

Yes, used them a few years ago for a platinum wedding ring to be sized down and a have recently had my white gold engagement ring and wedding ring rhodium plated. They dipped my 2 rings and polished my husband's platinum ring for the same price as having one ring dipped in my local jewellers. The rings are perfect, I'd highly recommend them.

I went there with my engagement ring and could not have been happier. I will be bringing my ring back in the next week or so to get it cleaned before the wedding (4 weeks away!). The lads are really nice!

I'm dropping my ring into these guys next week to get resized down 1 size. They said they can have it done the same day for me! I'm delighted- my ring is just slightly too big and I'm constantly afraid of it slipping off, but didn't want to be without it for too long.

Mine was only €30

Bought a diamond for herself, and they did a great job of building it into a custom platinum ring.

Highly recommended.
