Without appearing to be too stupid is it at the back of the jeep or the front of the jeep. When he bypassed the diesel tank it was still at it.

presumed you would have mentioned it, but any excess smoke? if so what colour

My mits L200 used to go into ''limp home mode'' because of a faulty ECU (whatever that is), and it wouldn't go over 2000 revs like that.......supposed to protect the engine if there was some thing wrong,it was atrigered by a change in the exhaust emmisions so it sometimes happened when you'd put the foot to the floor to overtake and then as the name implies you;d just have to ''limp home''

Simple way to do a tractor like that which isn't getting a huge amount of work is fill it on the first day of the month.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Quick question. Got notification that the herd test is to be done by second week in may. Was planning to sell a few near the end of April. Can I work away or have I to test them first as I got notification

Think you should be ok as long as you have the test booked in the allotted timeframe and all are in test. We got locked up last year for going 2 days over the testing date, despite the DVO lady saying it would be ok

Maybe double check with yours? Or just ring the mart a week before you plan to sell and see if the herd number is ok to buy & sell.

Is there any way to keep the test date from shifting IYKWIM?

Ie if you wanted to keep it the same week every year? The way it is l think it'll always keep creeping back. But l always thought there should have been a grace period of say a fortnight and so long as you tested within that time every year you were grand.

I got a few letters over a few weeks a couple of years ago because I didn't test before the due date .
It was out on the 25th of Feb this year and I tested on the 24th .
What are people paying now for it ?,I didn't read through our bill properly yet but thought it was a bit pricey when paying

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 31,428 ✭✭✭✭whelan2

Didn't get bill for test yet. We get a 10% discount for payment when we get the bill iykwim
