Ballcock replacement

Im going to replace my attic tank ballcock tomorrow. I have it removed and the water is isolated. My question is what would be the best way to create a good seal on the plastic water tank wall. Thanks...

you shouldn't need to seal it at all. the water level will be well below the hole and there will be an overflow pipe below it as well
