have a flex pipe with a hole in it. so has to be cut at either end of exhaust pipe and new one welded in...also have hole in rear wheel arch about the size of a tennis ball that needs weld patched..
will nct pass it if done properly? or do they want welding certs nowadays??
    thanks

My exhaust had a break near the back box back in January. It was a clean break and they were able to weld it easily enough.

Car went through the NCT first time last week with no problems at all.

Not sure about the wheel arches im afraid.

It also doesn't have to look pretty , in fact the nct like to see welds rather than filler.
