I downloaded this episode to watch on a trip over to Manchester, it is not suitable plane viewing!!! Didn't realise how graphic Charlie's sex scene could be.

Watched the latest three episodes, much better than the rather weak episode 2 imo.

Sorry just came across this post as I start watching this show a while back. I kept watching it to see would it and yes it has grown on me to the point I find it hilarious! The highlights so far are the episode where Dennis and Dees mother died, she gets buried with her jewelry so Dee won't get it. The next scene with Dee in camouflage and a shovel saying she was going to dig up her mum because "the women's buried down there like Mr T" had me laughing for like ten minutes. Also the episode where Charlie and Mac get the job in the company mail room has so many funny moments it's just brilliant!

The bits with Charlie in the mailroom are absolute gold.

Started watching this recently and we're on season 8 now. Haven't laughed this hard so frequently at a show / movie in years.

Season 1 was a bit shaky but once DeVito popped up the show hit it's stride and it just nailed it for us, superb show.

Only problem(?) is that whenever we want to watch it we get an itch to drink :pac:

    Thread Bump

    Anyone watched Season 12?

The 1st episode completely passed me by. Woosh. Not sure there was anything I found funny in it. Must watch it again.

The rest of it though, I still found very good. Feel the laughs are still there for a show 12 seasons in while maybe not having the standout episodes from earlier.
The dialog around the use of the N word while sitting in mitigation at a law firm is something you're not going to see in any other show. As for the exercise bike in that episode!!!

Love the fact that some of the jokes aren't highlighted/explained and it would take someone who is a fan of the show to even get them.

Think the continued evolution of Dennis is again made better for having seen his progression in early seasons. His explanation of what it means to be a successful thief while stealing a pair of sunglasses at the waterpark was very funny because of what it said about him as a character.

The Gang go Black was off the wall, but I liked it.

Gang goes to a Waterpark was hilarious but like a lot of the seasons the last few episodes of the series were poor imo.

    Bumpty Bump

Watched Season 13 over the last week. Some episodes were pretty weak and also evident in many episodes how separated the gang was with some characters only appearing very briefly or not at all.
Thought it was nearly too obvious that they were tackling hot topics in certain episodes, me too, gender specific bathrooms, liberal/conservatives, etc which could have been done with a 2nd tier plot line instead of the main focus of the episode although 'Times up for the gang' was top notch, largely because of Denis's psychotic behaviour throughout.

Howerton was excellent as always when he was on screen. Overall I would probably give it a B minus. It still does its thing different to any other show and I am on the side that thought the season ending was excellent partly because it was so unexpected and out of character with the show but many online seem to dislike it.

Say what you want about it, but few actors would put the effort in that McElhenny did to get fat, get lean and learn how to dance just to commit to his performance as Mac.
