So i purchased an old mobile home, with an old Paloma water heater that i have had serviced.

The heater ignites ok but when i run the hot water it doesn't fire to heat the water. Suspect the problem is low water pressure so will be checking that this weekend. Think this heater requires 0/7 bar to operate.

If low water pressure is the problem, i think the only solution is to fit a storage tank and pump. This should fit easily under the mobile.

Would appreciate some advice on a suitable pump to create ~ 1 bar pressure system?

    Regards

    J

Most of those heaters work on a massive range of pressure ours (Morco) is rated for 1`to 7 bar.

Are you 100% sure its a pressure problem and not one of volume? You can run water through ours without it heating up but as soon as the volume of flow goes over a certain amount when you open the tap further the boiler kicks in.

If you have a temperature control on the boiler try it in different positions including up full. iirc you can set the controls on ours so it only comes on when the hot tap at the sink is fully open or when its open just a crack. Try also opening all the hot taps fully, kitchen sink, bathroom sink and shower and see if that makes any difference.
