Bulk tank has sirem motor on top.. It appears to only rotate one way, which I suspect leaves some deposits on back of blades.

The type is R 1C 245 N 2 B.. data sheet on the sirem web site, says its reversible,

Maybe I am overlooking a switch the sparks put in, or perhaps I can call him back to change and make it reverse either manually or alternately.

Anyone have there one reversing easily.. I have a fair idea what would be needed in terms of reversing the polarity on one of the windings - but of course dont want to risk it. There is probably a simple solution I am overlooking.

AFAIK only 3 phase motors can be reversed easily

Check if agitator shaft is screwed into motor. If so then reversing direction will cause it to unscrew and detach.

Depends on the winding system of the motor. For example, your washing machine and tumble drier motors reverse despite being single phase.

Nope. Think of the motors on chain or rope auto scrapers.

A single phase motor would need some of wiring to the windings exposed.... at least.. to allow some method of reversing it.. Lets see what sirem did..

Not sure what wires are exposed on this one.. I am away from it now and will get a look again in a few days.

Thanks for the hints, I dont want to propose this without having done the search beforehand, while its needed in the season we are in.
