i'd say go for the edge mainly for the bigger battery.

but as for the color yeah i can't decide.

Torn between black & gold - Edge & non-edge! (currently using an S6 Edge)

I've got the S6 edge too and while I love the phone, the Edge is utterly pointless. In fact it can be a pain at times for me when trying to access buttons near the curve on the screen.
If I had the choice again I wouldn't bother with the Edge.

Obviously a pricing error so, doubt anyone that bought it at that price will get it at that price.

You can turn off the edge features if you don't like the button, you can also move the button around the screen, the only benefit I see to the edge is for the nighttime clock, saves me having to turn on the phone to see the time but that's about it. I went for the Edge mainly for the bigger screen this time around, I also went for the black version because I thought the gold would be a bit too "bling" in a work phone.

From either really. I'll turn off app power saving and see. Missed some messages today that needed urgent response.

Yep. Just installed it. Hoping it sorts out the rebooting bug.

thinking of getting the edge 7, does the battery life really last up to 2 days from those who have them can you confirm this?
    Thanks

I've just plugged in mine for the first time since Sunday morning and there was a lot of use of the Gear VT headset on it in work yesterday so I would say that 2 days is potentially a realistic target.

Cool thanks for that. I've the edge 6 and it's a mightmare. Charging it nearly twice a day....

that's terrible must be a heavy user then?
considering it's battery is around 2600 mah than my galaxy s5 2800mah.
i plug mine only once a day. waiting for my s7 edge to arrive next week but it's going to improve as it has 3600mah

Unless I use the satnav a lot on my S6 I rarely get the 15% warning on it so I'd say I wouldn't be a huge user.

I charge mine overnight. I'm not an awfully heavy user but I only plug it in every second night.

I got the gold. I love it. So much brighter and lovely than the black. I am a female with a penchant for gold though!!! :D:P

I'm easily getting 40+ hours on my S7 Edge with fairly heavy usage as it's still got that new toy feel! Lots of streaming, browsing, games, GearVR, WiFi/GPS on all the time, brightness half way, always on display switched off.

For example at the moment I'm on 85% battery after 16.5 hours with 31 hours estimated remaining, best battery I've ever had in a phone (except the Nokia 3210!)

I'm finding the battery on the Edge to be excellent, plug it in at night and still usually on around 30% late the following evening and that's with fairly heavy usage.

I've never bought a phone from Expedite Electronics. 32gb S7 is 490 pounds (with 12 pounds off) which is 620e, not bad.

550 pounds for the Edge (in white) coming in a shade under 700e.

Have 3 S7 Edge's on order myself (company phones for the bosses and myself - well, they did tell me to get one! :p) Torn between the black and gold for mine though.

I think I need to go physically look at them and decide.. I assume most shops should have them now?

Then there's the next question.. an S7 Edge for work seems like overkill but it might be a nice swap for my S6 Edge+. What to do, what to do... :)

the gold one is stunning to look at and more bling :P however the black onyx is simple and sleek

I took mine off charge at 7 this morning. 4G all day until 5pm and WiFi since, watch connected all day, GPS always on high accuracy, about 70 mins navigating, streamed around 3 hours of podcasts over bluetooth, screen-on time of 4 hours 55 mins, and still 30% left.

Any other phone I had would have been plugged in hours ago.

My battery would be slightly worse I'm not as heavy user as yourself but getting around the 15 to 18hr mark with moderate use.

I charged mine yesterday at 4pm and have used it for over 4 hours of calls (conference call hell), constant email and email, the battery is currently at 48%. I've no doubt that new software/app updates battery life will come more in line with the S6 but at the moment it's far far better than my old iPhone anyway.
