Howdy, off to Limerick for a non footie / metal night out.

Anyone recommend any decent pubs with a decent craft offering and food?

The old quarter little Ellen Street has gotten good reviews on Beoir finder

Sorry I'm late for replying here, but the Olde Quarter is not a great pub at all. The place is wall-to-wall Heineken, and maybe Coors Light. It's a spot for hen nights and parties, with decent food and good live music, but an awful selection of beer.

The Blind Pig (Thomas Street), the Red Hen (Patrick Street), Mickey Martin's (Augustinian Lane, off Thomas Street), Tom Collins' (Cecil Street), Flannery's (front bar on Denmark Street, opposite Smyths/Icon) and possibly Cobblestone Joe's (50 metres down the lane from the aforementioned Old Quarter) would be the bars to visit for craft/Irish/European beers.

Ah OK, maybe it's gone down hill since its entry to beoir finder

Cheers lads. Walked by the old quarter and kept going . Had a few very enjoyable pints in Mickey Martins including Full Sail. First time having it in a non GBB branded bar.
