Leaving new job

    Hi

    Been working as a merchandiser and sales rep with a number of companies part time, tactical work etc got a full time sales rep position with one company two months ago, quickly found out although I seem to be able to do the job reasonably well sales is not for me

    My question is I am planning on changing jobs but I feel this is a delicate situation so how do I go about?

    Why is it a delicate situation? Find another job that you like, then hand in your notice. Do it professional and politely, of course.

    Well its because i am only in the door really in a full time role but sales aint for me even though I am told I am performing well its not for me..

    If it's not for you, then you are not only doing yourself but your employer a favor by allowing someone to have the position who actually wants it and will be motivated. Sales is no place for someone motivated to do anything but sales. Believe me, I understand; I am one of those "good at sales except for the fact that I hate it" types, too.
