First regular "work day" with the Edge yesterday so moderate use with less playing around on it, haven't charged it now in 25hrs and battery on 67%. :)

Turned off the Always On display, very handy feature but worried about pixel burn over time. It keeps moving so it won't burn specific text but I suspect it will give a light blurred burn over the area over time.

I picked up a case from Three. This case has a cover with a slot on the inside to hold an ATM card. So, I had my card in it over the weekend and today i discovered minor scratches on the screen exactly where the chip of the card was rubbing against the glass.

Never thought that could happen. At least it never happened to my iphone 6 in a similar case,

Only very minor scratches, but still - Raging.

Was an issue on the s6 also with the samsung official cases even! After much anger Ssmsungs solution was to provide a free screen protector to prevent further damage. Id bever use a folio cases unless the inside front is lined with micro fibre and/or doesnt make contact with the glass. Otherwise you risk grit rubbing off the glass which will either damage the oleophobic coating or the glass itself if the grit is harder than the glass on the mohs scale which sand is.

I did more looking and there's an official Samsung one on mobilefun. Pricey enough but would be really handy to be getting out of the car with a full charge each time.

On the screen protector, what make was it and did it cover the full screen?

Sorry only seeing this now. Thanks for link, I'll check it out.
I've no idea re brand of screen protector. Girl in shop asked if i wanted it and she put it on for me & I didnt take packaging. It covers full screen. I dont have an Edge.

Has anyone seen a wet apply plastic one? I got one for my Tab S when I got it and it went on really well, not a bubble to be seen.

Could be the way to go with these too.

Yeah Zang have the wet ones. €14.99. Bought it but I messed it up so it went in the bin. In Dublin today so will try and get one of the phone shops to install one for me :pac:

Less than 24 hours with my Edge and I'm in love. Absolutely fantastic phone. Well done Sammy! :D

Trying for the last 3 days to contact CPW Enniskillen to see if they have the edge in sim free before I drive up.

It's a joke. No one ever answers the phone, no way to email to check. Must have rang at 10 different times.

    Edit: finally got through.

I have never used a wireless charger before so i'm not sure about the following. I received one with the S7 Edge through Vodafone but the charger only got delivered today, I collected the phone last Friday. When I got home and opened it, I realised the wireless charger came with no adapter. Is this the norm?

If anyone else received one through Vodafone, could they let me know if it was the same for them. I tried ringing the store to check with them but can't get through.

Yes that's normal. You use the charger supplied with the phone.

In the same boat Agent Smith, tried a place on capel street yesterday and gave me my money back today. Also tried UnlockScope and they refunded my money too.

Not looking so good at the moment. Might have to wait up to 1 month before the unlock codes for Vodafone s7's start making the rounds. :(:(

Mine just arrived at my parcel motel, less than 48 hours after ordering from Samsung.

    Impressive!

What do you guys think about the photo comparison? Honestly I was expecting a bit more from the S7. It's still great, though.

I've been using the phone for just over 2 days now and the battery is still 27%. Well impressed!

2 days without a charge and still at 27%? wow. What brightness do you have it set at? Are you using the phone a lot?

I've the S6 edge and could only dream of that sort of battery life haha.

Not heavy use (was too busy) but 5hr 30min of screen on time over the 2 days. Was adjusting the brightness depending on use, but typically about 70%.

So not one person here having reboot problems? Seems to be a lot on xda. Worrying but hopefully it's a software issue. I will be returning mine Friday.

Switching from HTC M9 to the S7. It's weird that the phone feels so small in comparison yet the screen is actually a little bigger. I only used an S6 for a short while and had forgotten just how compact they are - not a bad thing of course but think I'll upgrade for the Note 6 when that arrives.
