    Hi Guys.

I've a quick question I'm looking for some advice on.

I currently provide a freelance voiceover service to a company. I now need to get another voiceover to provide a different option for them, but this second voice will be invoicing me for the work instead of the main company.

Can anyone advise on how best to deal with ensuring I don't run into difficulty in any of their tax claims etc in the future?

Sorry if i've not made this clear enough.

    Thanks!

Easiest way - if the income is under 3174, just complete an e-Form 12 for 2015 next year, and declare the income on that. Very simple.

If the income is over 3174 (after exps), then you have to register as self assessed, and complete a Form 11, where you can declare this income

I have a very similar question. Just wondering if the 3174 EUR is from freelancing alone or your total income. For example if you were earning a wage from a company (on their payroll, not freelance) and did a freelance job is it the total income (company job + freelance) that has to be under 3174 EUR for e-form 12 or just the freelance income alone?

    Thanks :)

Just the freelance income needs to be under 3174 to be assessed on the Form 12.
