Car door won't open from inside, but will from outside

    Any suggestions will help

    OK
    The misses car won't open from the inside so it's a case of down with the window and open the outside handle
    No resistance from inside
    I took the inner panel off and had a look
    Nothing seems out of place
    What am I looking at here lads
    Cars due an not and need to get it sorted
    If anybody has any suggestions or in the know of a reputable mechanic
    The cars a 08 open astray gtc hatch
    In finglas if anybody can help

    When you took the panel off was there a cable attached to the inner door handle. If there was was the cable end shroud fixed in place

    Would look like a bicycle brake cable with a hook on the end that attaches to the door handle

    It was attached but didn't notice that shroud
    Will double check
