Mmmmm. I like rare chicken. And you prepared it perfectly, flash fried, refrigerated overnight then zapped in a microwave.

A lot to be said for preparing your own meals in your own kitchen. That would put me off takeaways for life. Looks like vulva in batter.

If you look closely, you can see the heart beating..

Yes. Is that a thing now?

Maybe the OP should forget eating it and just ride it.

Apparently it's not the easy to get salmonella if the chicken has been cooked at all. Though the reheating may not have helped. I ate undercooked chicken recently and thought I was going to die but didn't and Google said I probably wouldn't which was reassuring because Google normally says you're definitely going to die.

Can I have your stuff? (Not the chicken)

Not all chicken carries salmonella so you could be grand (50% I think). Can take a minimum of 24 hours for food poisoning to set in. Pray to all the gods you don't get it. A stabbing would probably be less painful. Have you got your affairs in order op?

The good news is that food poisoning usually doesn't last long. 12 - 48 hours.

The bad news is that....well you may as well bring the TV into the toilet. And a pillow.

Where was the takeaway from OP?

There's so many different types of food poisoning that they can last from 24 hours to a couple of weeks.
