How much would you reckon a 2010 Golf with 180.000km is worth?

    Full service history.

    1.6tdi . Diesel

I'd say around €10k private at most.

One (2010) in my family from new with > 190K Kms up, EGR Cooler had to be replaced just on the 3 year mark, cost around €850 I think but VW coverd 80 or 90% so you might want to budget for this (if it hasnt already been done) as its a common failure, only other replacements have been the offside front wheel bearing and the differential pressure switch for the DPF

According to my data set, the average mileage for your car is about 118k km, with an average asking price of €11,400. Not a huge amount of them to compare against. Your trim and history would be the big deciding factor. You should easily get €10k+ for it but its finding a private buyer willing to deal at that level will be tricky.

It's impossible to give an accurate valuation with the lack of information given by the OP.

We don't even know what spec the car has, there is a huge difference in price between Trendline, Comfortline and Highline versions.

Then there is all the other detail that is missing. Colour? Import or Irish? What county is on the reg plate? General condition? Any modifications? Etc etc...
