Why don't people just buy from Three and get an unlock code ? You can get the phone on the 8th from them apparently...

Because I got a sim free version for same price as three, the first three phones might be unlocked but I'm not taking the chance when the other option is there. I can still buy the vr from voda anyway

So unlocked mobiles emailed back and said they can just charge the extra and change the order to the edge.

That was the cheapest place as far as I know. Not sure if they just sold out or it was a mistake but it was 50e cheaper than any place else.

I saw an ad in the window of the samsung store in dundrum at the weekend saying the gear vr was €50. Don't know if it was a limited offer.

I ordered mine using Revolut and adding 820 to the card and then adding that card to PayPal. Set up an Address Pal or whatever for shipping. Any ideas when they are sending them from Samsung UK and how long it should take if using address pal?

I know the pre orders will be shipped for the 8th as I said in a previous post about the mail i got from them saying its out of stock but if its a pre order it will be shipped on time. I was saying there isnt a chance they might ship it earlier as some carriers have shipped some.

They were added to the system as I checked when I ordered it and got the tracking mail. It changed to out of stock after a day,but as its a preorder I presume its just a default thing when they were all allocated

Got my hands on an S7 and S7 edge today while in a three shop.
I have ordered an S7 in black and I'm glad I kept to that one as the edge is too big in my opinion.
However the VR Gear blew me away.I didn't realise what it does.I didn't know that it has apps like netflix and I also tried a 3D game where I was Iron Man.My kids are going to be disappointed when their dad refuses to hand it over.Roll on Tuesday

Netflix launched a good few months back.

Basically puts you in a virtual living room with large screen and allows you to stream netflix.

Been using the gear vr for the note 4 since it launched and it's truly an amazing feature.

Any getting the s7 should deifnetly be getting the gear vr. Regardless if it comes free or not.

Got to try an S7 and Edge in a Meteor shop today. Wasn't intending to get the Edge but was pleasantly impressed! Torn now.

Every shop I've been into with an S6 Edge seemed to have display problems with their demo handsets. Burned on pixels and a lot of dead pixels. Are there issues with the S6 Edge? Have these been resolved?
