Recruiters

I stupidly gave a recruiter my mobile number (he had rang me on my work phone calling through from reception and I wanted to get rid of him).
Now I've had several calls from this recruitment company, do I have rights with regard my phone number being stored and shared in this company?
I've told them I'm not looking for a new job, they're texting me now too.

Doesn't something in the Data Protection act cover this. By requesting they remove or delete your data, they should comply.

You just need to formally ask them to stop contacting you e.g. via email

Usually (usually) when you ask a recruiter to take you off their database they will oblige. Be specific rather than saying you're not looking for work.

Thanks, will do that going forward. I don't mind emails but constant ringing during working hours just felt like harassment, I'll be firm in future.
