Win tonight and draw on Saturday and were in a fairly good spot

Spurs have a fairly hard April

But weather were in it or not I just don't trust this team to win when the pressure is really on

The only downside to Leicester dropping points is that it puts a bit of pressure on us tonight.

And we all know how that usually works out...

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see West Ham get a result against Spurs tonight.

The problem is we've not got the right mentality to capitalise on these slip ups.

Waiting on the next lot of excuses from Wenger after we play out a stale 0-0 draw with 80% possession.

"We played with quality and had most of the ball, but it is difficult to play against teams who sit deep"
"I cannot fault our commitment or desire"
"It is a disappointing result, but we're still not out"

Just done something I've never ever done before.

    Googled Tottenham fixtures.

    I f*ckin hate this season.

Ha. I actually said those quotes in my head in a Wenger accent. Bonus points for "Our intensity was high" and "we perhaps were a bit naive and played with the handbrake on"

Ah lads, can you cut this rubbish out, we are all on the same team here, this place will be bad enough later if we don't get the 3 points, lets try to keep things positive for now

We have been so brutal the last few weeks but if we win and Hammers beat Spurs we will probably be favourites in the bookies again.

    Bonkers !

    well said.

i just feel the guy was in a bad mood and attacked me for no reason.

i would hate to read his posts after a loss against spurs.

    Anyways onwards and upwards.

Cazola imo would not have made too much of a difference for arsenal. We need to get rid of 4-5 players and bring in some top quality ones. or get rid of wenger

Just on this, I think missing Santi has been crucial to our poor form.

Wenger used to call Pires the oil and I feel Santi was like that for us. He would control tempo in the midfield and unfortunately I think they only other players we have that can do that are Wilshere and possibly Mozart.

Yea I think Santi is a big loss. Doubt Wilshere will make any impact if he even plays this year.
Really hope we have a front 4 of

    Welbeck Ozil Sanchez
    Giroud

    for the swans game
Or giving Campbell a run out either

I think he might play Campbell on the right in place of Welbeck as he did make some comment (cant remember what exactly) about Welbeck still getting full fitness so two games in a few days might be too much.

I wonder how close he is to dropping Sanchez? Although the other option is Walcott who has been even worse lately.

This is part one of 2 problems, nobody with the possible exception of Ozil is really making a statement of intent on behalf of this team from midfield forward.

Part 2 is obviously missing Santi. He is a huge loss!

Danny will probably be on the bench tonight, Spring for the last 20 if we need him... And you know what we probably will.

I'm very severely frustrated with this team at the moment.

I'd like to see Sanchez on the right and Welbeck on the left, see what happens.

    Couldn't be any worse!

I am guess Wenger is just praying that Sanchez will find the back of the net for sooner. If he gets his form back we really do have a great chance of winning the league....... If not though...

ditto Ramsey, Walcott, Giroud, pratically half the team, that's why we're faltering, so few players playing at their level.

For some reason I booked flights and tickets for the Swansea game last night. Don't know what's wrong with me...

ditto let's see which arsenal shows up tonight eh

That Cazorla news is severely depressing. I believe he is hugely underestimated in terms of importance to this team. Santi gives us fluency, controls midfield and is absolutely exceptional in transforming defence to attack. He nearly always picks the best pass from deep to get us moving properly.

As someone noted Wilshere and then Rosicky are two best replacements for that time of game and they crocked too. Really felt if Cazorla got back he would guide it home if we were in the mix. Not much confidence in that now.

Very true..... Only reason I said Sanchez is that he has that extra bit of class and currently nothing he is trying is coming off.

Would it be crazy to give Elneny a go in the midfield to see what he can do?

actually the reason we are faltering is not because players ARENT playing at their level.. its because they ARE playing at their level, their level just isnt good enough.

Their level is good enough to be squad players but not good enough to deliver on a consistent basis. Their level isnt good enough to consistently get you a result in top matches .

Speaking on March 1, Arsene Wenger said before the game against Swansea City: "Jack (Wilshere) is doing quite well but has still not been outside yet. He is [three to four weeks] away."

In other words we wont see him again this season either. About time some of the drain on resources were cut loose, we held onto Diaby for far too long and the club should have learnt a lesson from it

Disagree, but that's pretty much par for the course

    Disagree.

You saw them come flying out of the traps against Utd at our gaf. They are able to do it, when they feel like it (although I'm certainly not saying some of 'em don't need to be upgraded).

Santi has tweeted that the reports on him are wrong and he still hopes to be back around 1st April
