my dog went missing two days ago. he's free to roam the garden so must've just took off. very unusual of him but I think it happened once before. he turned up late last night after I heard him barking in the garden. such a relief seeing him trot up to the door.

Aww thats brilliant! My dog went missing a few years back and was then stolen for breeding, we eventually got him back after a few heartbreaking months of searching. You must have been delighted to see him back. :)

Proper butcher sausages in the fridge.

I'm eating breakfast out. I've ordered a vegetarian breakfast but now I want sausages :(

I don't even remember the last time I had sausages. Damn you Bulbous.

I was a veggie for 8 years so I like veggie food :P

It's got loads of nice things on it, poached eggs, herby potatoey things, mushrooms, tomatoes. I can't remember what else. But yeh, veggie brekkies are yum. Be yummier with a saussie though

When you're prostrate on the couch and think you'd rather like to go to bed and remember you didn't put make up on that day. Straight up and in :-)

It's really hard to not point out grammatical errors in posts which discuss grammar :p

Americans use the full stop in all titles. Mrs/Mr etc.

Running in the rain is my happy. I much prefer it to running on a sunshiney day.

Point is still valid, regardless of grammar. I thought it might be an interesting aside. Also nice way of drawing attention to something without drawing attention to it.

Anyways, to the happy, got out on the golf course for the first time since September, you can't beat the feeling of watching your ball head towards a bunch of trees, hear it ping around like a pinball and then see it shoot back out and land nicely on the fairway.Might only happen once in a blue moon (the ricochet, not the heading towards the trees) but it's a good'un.

Walking in bright sunshine under a blue sky. The roads are actually dry. Neighbours along the country road stopping to chat. Everybody seems to have so much time today and smiles on faces.

Its like we are all emerging from our winter hibernation. The first good day of the year and great to chat with people you have not seen in months.

And all the chat was positive. 'Great weather' 'lovely to see the colour back to the garden' 'Anne's expecting a baby in June' 'any holidays planned?'. Gone the mind numbing moaning about weather, no boring repetition about ill health or aches and pains. Roll on the Spring and Summer.

Went to visit my horse today, she's being looked after by someone else while I'm off injured. She looked really happy and was jumping for fun! Made me so happy to see! :)

I have two new books to dive into: Working Stiff (careful, now! T'is a book on pathology, ye pervs! :P ) and The Colour of Magic.
I also have a massive bag of Jolly Ranchers and I'm desperately trying not to scoff all the blue ones before dinner. Nectar of the gods, they are.

Another day, another hotel bedroom. But in another country....Finland. Feet up again and eating foreign sweets after a nice walk in the cold night air. Total antidote for all the travel and stress :-)

I got saussies for my tea. Bulbous's fault.

Today turned into the most beautiful day. Made my car shiny and was able to take the roof off. Love sunny days.

    Patients thanking me personally.

I don't really expect it, I'm only a student after all but it's really nice when they do and I feel as if I'm doing things right.

A good burp after a good meal.

    A glass of cold water.

    A beautiful song.

My haircut! I had it done two weeks ago and I know it sounds silly but it has changed my life. My hair used to be half way down my back. It was so heavy and extremely knotted, it used to take 40 minutes to brush it out fully. I've had it cut to just above my shoulder and had it thinned out and it takes about 30 seconds to brush now. It's amazing!!! I don't sit and cry when I brush it and I can wash my it even when I'm in a rush.

    This really is trivial!!!

Not trivial at all Kat, a good haircut can really change how you feel(just the same as a bad one can ;))

The sunshine today really made me happy, you could feel Spring in the air :)

Seeing a photo of a newborn baby lamb with his little ears sticking out, and hearing about more being born. All the happy feelings pumping through me.

I felt very happy earlier on about snowy mountains but now feel very sad about being alone. Life can be very clever about totally dragging you down like that
