Couldn't give a monkeys about a top 4 finish. If we don't win it I don't care where we finish. So what if we lose out on CL money......

How can you find fault with Ozil when there were so many worse perfmances out there

Ramsey and Walcott were absolutely dire and Gabriel was poor too.

We're not out of the title chase, that's a bit melodramatic.
We're close to being out of it, we need to beat Spurs now.

Our record at Old Trafford has been crap for years. Not too shocking that we get beaten there.
Sanchez would be the main concern for me. He's nowhere near the level he was before his injury.
I thought Arsenal were playing better as a team when Campbell was playing.
Campbell is nowhere near the level of Sanchez but Arsenal were putting in better team performances.

Beating Spurs is a tough ask IMO, with the firm we are in. Also Leicester need to lose, not looking likely. Too many ifs.

It's out of him and Campbell. 6 and two threes if you ask me.

He's done literally nothing in his Arsenal career, let's be honest. The fact that he was an option is damning of Wenger IMO.

We could still win the league. It's possible but we should have been a few miles ahead by now. Man I wish we got Pellegrini a few years ago.

Gonna call a draw right now.

Ah we definitely are out of it now. There is not a hope that we are going to win at White Hart Lane. Today showed exactly why we won't win the league. They aren't mentally strong enough. I honestly don't know what they were playing at out their today. Ya would never have thought that they were fighting for a premier league title.

Ozil being sh*t still got us a goal and an assist.

He's on another planet than everyone else at the club.

I think it all boils down to the club being happy to make as much cash as possible with as little financial outlay as possible.

Make no mistake, it's only the fans and players that are motivated by winning trophies. No one else has the foggiest motivation to win a trophy and that's where our major problem stems from.

There's what 11 games left. Leicester ain't going to win all of them (not that Arsenal will either). We're still in it but need to go on a run of wins. Swansea, Spurs and West Brom are next. We need 3 wins from 3 to get back in it.

Its the same all over again. Same players. Same mistakes. Wenger even said as much after the Barcelona game. Window after window goes by with nothing changing. We've made 2 signings in 3 transfer windows.

Enough is enough. We need to move on and build. And most importantly, with a new manager.

Don't worry lads we'll see exactly the same again next season.
    Rinse and repeat.

I dunno. We scored 2 goals at OT today. That should be enough to win. It's not the lack of spending that cost us, it's team tactics/momentum/whatever.

We have been playing like ****e for months.

Such a pity Wilshere is always crocked. He'd be a seriously better option than the current version of Ramsey. Don't care what anyone says; for all of his running around, Aaron is utterly pointless at present and holds the team back. Cazorla is the biggest missing piece by a country mile as well - not great in certain games but he makes it all tick with some fluidity.

Gutted with today. We can still win the league but it's highly unlikely now. Given the state of the other teams, it's actually a disgrace that we're not on top, never mind five points behind. The joys of being an Arsenal fan; they build us up just to crush us down in the most hilarious ways.

Tbh, I'd have more confidence in Arsenal beating Spurs at White Hart lane than United at Old Trafford. They had some stat during todays game that Arsenal hadn't scored more than one goal in a league game at Old Trafford in over 20 games. We have a terrible record there. If we win the next 3 league games, we're back in it.

He got a goal and assist I think youre being overly harsh. The loss is in no way his fault imo. Down to terrible terrible defending and a poxy deflected shot that cech had no chance against.

I never said it was his fault i was replying to a comment that he will move on if we dont win the league

So anyone still think we couldn't get a better manager?

Don't be punishing yourself by hanging on to hopes of the league. We have absolutely no chance.

A proper team now would go out and put 5 or 6 past Swansea on Wednesday night can't see it though

I think this result should put the end of all this winning the league talk. Didn't think this side was good enough from the start, far too many bottlers and average talent. Wenger needs to step down, no way finishing top 4 with Chelsea and City no running away with it as they usual do and if Spuds win the title, could you imagine the ****storm that would go down with that. Plus with wenger's usual "no quality out there" crap during the summer with his lack of transfer activity and saying his side is good enough won't fly with the fans. He's in mighty trouble and you could see it in his face today.

Losing to a below average UTD side, I could see Swansea doing us over and could you imagine What the Spud will do to us on Saturday. I think it's time for Wenger to put his hands up and admit he can't bring this side forward anymore.

    IMO who needs replacing/selling
    Walcott (1st out)
    Ox
    Wilshere
    Per
    Giroud
    Arteta
    Flamini

These are the ones that jump out, under a new manager don't think they would survive a cull

A proper side would have put Southampton, a average Liverpool side, West Brom, Norwich and this below par Utd team to the sword. I'm going to the Swansea game but don't feel any confindence in this squad even if they win who cares. They will get slaughtered at Spuds on the Saturday.

We aren't a proper team, we have some great talent but far too many guys who are not good enough to be at our great football club.

disagree with these two cause I think they can bring something to the squad. I sell off Ramsey if the right price came in for him.

I'm usually hopefully to the last but even I think the jig is up at this stage. Our starting XI today is on paper one of the best teams we've had in years and that United team one of the worst we've faced in years and we couldn't see it out. It's done, now I just pray leicester win it and not the spuds.

What addition does Wilshere make? Just a drain on resources, Giroud shouldn't be No1 striker need to bring in a WC one

We do. But that wasn't the problem today.

We need an improvement on Giroud but he would make a more than decent backup
