Not concerned....yet. Loads of time left.

It's 2-0 and we need to win. I'm pretty concerned.

Time to get a point yet but if we take a beating then Wenger can fcuk right off.

Heads better not drop now. Let's see what we're made of.

Why do we always make teams who are doing poor look like Barcelona?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,234 ✭✭✭Ardennes1944

The last time we played United and the teams were this unbalanced in terms of quality and injuries....we got 8 goals put past us.

Never expected us to do that today but this is complete bollocks

Those calling for Mert's head getting their rewards today. Gabriel is a liability.

    Complacency.

Wengers no.1 trait. That and no f*cking balls.

    Gabriel is rubbish

What a joke. Arsenal season is over. Top 4 that's it. What a joke

Only a joke is funny. Pathetic. The worst team United have had for years and we get clobbered.

Gabriel is clueless. Draw looking like an "outstanding" result now.

Ozil and Sanchez to leave this season. Mark my words. Too many average players

And to think some fans were happy we would go out of the CL and concentrate on the league!

I think he will be but at the moment he's not ahead of Mert, I think people just assume because he can run faster he's better tbh.

Walcott has one literally nothing in that whole half. He may provide a chance with his pace, but I'd probably bring on Campbell at HT.

He's only effective in a match where we can break. Completely anonymous.

Our transitions are just way too slow when we get the ball.

What the hell was that from a first half? The only good thing is that we clawed back a goal before half time. Disgraceful performance all round. Do they want to win the league or what? Haven't been as angry about a performance in some time.

Getting really sick of stupid mistakes costing us.

that last passage 42:40 sums up why Coquelin does not bring anything special to Arsenal.
He makes a forward break, gets the ball on the move edge of 18 yard box , one on one can drive on, but he stops dead in his tracks and waits for 3 Man U defenders to get back before delivering a ball to Walcott who is surrounded.

Coquelin can do nothing when facing the opponents goal, he can only play lateral or backwards. The modern game cannnot carry a passenger in their team who is so one dimensional.

We were 4th in the league, on a disastrous run in CL when Coq got injured, when he came back we were sitting top of league, had recoverd form in the CL and FA Cup run..
but Wenger ALWAYS sticks with his man, straight in he came and upsets the rhythm of the team .

Positive players like Ozil and Sanchez and overlapping full backs breaking at pass cannot afford to have a player like Coq in such a central position who slows down and breaks down so many forward moves. So much ball passes thru the position Coq occupies, the pace and pon opponents drops dead when he gets it.
Im all for a defensive mid, but that defensive mid needs to still be able to pass the ball forward sometimes.

I think you don't understand his role in the team. He won't make a risky pass when he is the one who has to clean up the mess. It's up to other players to make themselves available.

Coquelin problem is simple he needs Cazorla beside him to do all the creative stuff , Coquelin isn't capable of it , He's a destroyer rather than a creator

I'm not too worried United will tire in the 2nd half and we might turn up if we do at all we'll come back and win we've done **** all in the 1st half so they can't be tired

Walcott is anonymous yet again. Campbell has to replace him but Wenger will probably wait until the 60/70 minute mark.

Was there a handball at the end?

The best we can hope for is a draw now, IMO, and that is a long shot based on our dire performance. Remind me which team played on Thursday night?
