Usmanov is buying Everton apparently. It will be funny when he invests millions into them and they finish ahead of us next season.

He's also just increased his ownership of the club to over 30%.

Buy Everton, sell Lukaku to us.

Would be cheaper to just buy him :p

Just reading a bit about it now, PL rules state that someone cannot own more than 30% shares in 2 clubs so not sure how he would get around that. What seems more likely is that Farhad Moshiri, who he bought his Arsenal shares from, is in fact the one interested in Everton.

He's been shït this year. Arshavin got roasted for his body language but Ox hasn't been much better for us tbh. I don't even miss the fact he is injured tbh. Theo not much better. Ramsey can do frustrating stuff but his heart is as big as a lion.

Not having that. Ox has a lot to learn but you can't fault his effort.

Any player can put in an effort, he's just shíte. No improvement since he's about 19.

I wouldn't say the Ox is going anywhere. Wenger has invested too much in him. If he really felt that way, he sure wouldn't have been starting him recently ahead of Walcott and Campbell.

It's also not like squad places need to be freed up, with the likes of Arteta, Flamini and Rosicky heading for the exit door.

    This is very true.

We're a proper RW and a striker away from a complete squad.

    Why sell backup players?

Just buy Mahrez and the best possible striker we can find.

    It's literally that straightforward.

We've been 2 players short of a complete squad for years now

That's an easy enough line to throw out but I don't think it's true.

Otherwise you're saying we didn't need Alexis, Coq, Elneny, Gabriel, Cech.

We've always had a couple if priority positions but realistically now we've a first team that's a world class striker and a RW short of completeness.

After that I look Mert and Gibbs, which aren't a priority at all.

Nobody remembers how easy the league was when Fergy won it in his last season, nobody remembers how easy the league was last season when Jose won it. Unfortunately if arsenal do win it (still a massive challenge) then the media will label it an easy win even though united Chelsea, Liverpool and city spent 100s of millions building their teams.

To be honest I think everyone would be hugely congratulatory of Wenger.

    Except on boards.

But look, I remember when Italy won the World Cup on penalties. I asked some Italian friends if they cared that the final was **** and decided on pennos.

    Not in the least.

No-one gives a **** how you win it in the long term. Just like history doesn't care that Rafa had a great points total at Liverpool but came second to an awesome Utd team. Or how good and close Liverpool came with Suarez.

They've still never won the PL and would give it all up for scraping over the line in a poor season.

"7' Great work from the Arsenal man! He skips past a defender before finishing powerfully past Al-Habsi. Lovely stuff! 1-1."

What was Wenger thinking letting him go?

2 goals and he almost got a third by lobbing the keeper, but it was cleared off the line.

EDIT: HE'S ONLY GONE AND DONE IT!!!! A HATTRICK!!!!!

Have to admit, I love how superstitious this place can get.
