I picked up three handy 6 week old jex bull calves on Monday evening and threw them into that shed as it was late when I got home. I gave them a feed before I went to bed. Razor and her bull calf lie in the other side of the shed and she was very bold to rob their milk. She sounded like a slurry tanker sucking it up :D

Greedy Razorback robbing from the little ones. You would need the front loader and a chain to get her head out of there

    Is she in calf again?

Agree but unfortunately we didn't have any bulls big/large enough for her. She is a big cow.

I hope I'm not misquoting you here but I think you said that you "wouldn't have the balls" to sell your farm and buy one in France or somewhere like that.
I burst out laughing when I read that. I thought how would you unless the vet made a mistake with the burdiizzo:D

Bugs me so much that farmers are still allowed to spread slurry. The first fine day we have had in months all my windows open and come home to our neighbour happily spreading slurry right next door. The smell is absolutely foul. That he couldn't have the decency to tell me isn't surprising as the arrogance is unreal.

Straw on top just to insulate the place underneath? If so, how come you didn't use small squares? (I only say that as I know you have the baler)

    Or have I missed something?
