PSU 18 pin MB versus 20+4

    Hi all,

    I picked up a CoolerMaster v1000 recently for a build.

    The mobo I was looking to use (not got it yet) specifies a 24 pin connector to supply it with power. The spec sheet of the PSU says that it has a 20+4 pin out.
    However on the actual PSU itself there is a 18 pin and a 10 pin out for the MB.

    Is this standard or is there a mistake on the spec sheet? Specs can be accessed via the above link. The third pic shows what I mean if you click on it. Pics are accurate to the actual item.

    Long long time since I built anything so I'm a bit confused :confused:

    The mobo 24 pin cable most likley has different connectors at either end-an 8 and 10 pin on one side and the 24 pin on the other. Normal enough on modular PSU's, probably because the 8 + 10 layout takes up less space on the PSU.
