Looking like Chamberlain's season could be over.

Should have been taken off as soon as he got injured; what the **** is it with us leaving injured players on the pitch?! Cazorla played the ****ing 2nd half against Norwich iirc!

Its his own fault over playing tge ball, should have put it across the face of goal! Poxy touch got him crocked.

Wenger and his backroom staff not to blame on this one in afraid

He showed real desire to correct his error. Shame it cost him so much. Poor lad is blighted.

Not sure how Wenger hasnt seen enough of the Ox to wanna sell him. He hasn't shown any improvement on previous seasons, hasn't contributed many goals or assists this season and hasn't once put in a performance that left me impressed. Another average English winger to add to the list.

Going to Manchester on Sunday and the away leg at Barca. I clearly am into pain as pleasure.

Which error? The bad touch? If so he should have seen the tackle coming like the 60,000 other people in the stadium and rode the challenge

Hull replay confirmed for March 8th @ 7pm with the 5th round, if we win, on the Saturday with Barcs the following Wednesday. All of this after the Spurs game the previous Saturday

Interest article by the Daily Cannon about how the time and date was agreed. UEFA wanted the game to be played On Monday so it wouldn't conflict with Champions league fixtures.

the FA argued that wouldn't give enough time for the 2 clubs to recover from the weekend.

UEFA accepted that but said the Game would have to kick off at 5pm so it would be over before the CL ties kicked off. Again the FA argued that would prevent too many fans from getting to the game so eventually 7pm was agreed upon.

Fair play UEFA and the FA.

(It's not every day you get to say that!)

Yes the poor touch. Poor judgement too in thinking he could beat Mascherano too the ball.

You couldn't fault his passion though :(

Didn't think it was possible but I'm actually beginning to feel a little sorry for LVG.

Agghhh. You can see it now. Utd have missed a peno and a string of sitters and half chances tonight... You can just tell that they'll have a couple of half chances against us, score and beat us because we couldn't score in a brothel at the moment!

One thing I will grant LVG, he gave a good few young young players a shot such as Lindgard. Can be arrogant yes, but he is Mother Theresa compared to Mourinho

    Any financial justification for this?

I really don't know, maybe they will give an explanation when they announce. Largest cash reserve in world football apparently.

So oxs knee injury is worst than thought and could be out for months.

Why oh why was he allowed run around on it for an extra 15 minutes?

We had this before with him and theo.

Probably no financial justification for Arsenal FC, but it's probably justified at the parent company level. Kroenke is moving his NFL team from St Louis to Los Angeles, which requires a massive outlay. It's easier to get approval for loans when you can secure it against another part of your business, particularly when it's cash rich.

It's great business for Stan, as he literally doubled the value of his NFL team overnight, but it's still a slap in the face for us Arsenal fans.

Why isnt Kroenke pumping money into players and squad improvements like abramovich if they basically both have the same net worth ?

Because we're stable. He doesn't care if we win or not, just that we maintain our current level.

For him, it's good business. If he invests £100 million in Arsenal players, the value of Arsenal FC won't go up by all that much, even if we win everything around us, at least not for about 5 years of consistent winning.

On the other hand, he's spent $550 million just buying the right to move his NFL team from one city to another, and his team value went from $1.45 Billion to $2.9 Billion. He'll also have all the property development value, will probably have another team playing in his stadium (Weird, imagine having Chelsea playing their home games at the Emirates), and will also get massive tax breaks to do all this.

    America is weird.

Because one is a business man and the other is a kid with a toy.

It's funny that the former rather than the latter is the least preferable in this case!

    Love to see Wengers contrct.
I expect his bonus for financial results is larger than his bonus for results on the pitch.
I expect his more incentive to balance the books than to get results.

Feel sorry for Ox, should never have been allowed back on, should have been substituted straight away, it was easy to see he was struggling .
    Anothe horse Wenger has flogged.
And its not like his development has improved, hes always had that headless chicken kick run aspect to his game, really great managers coach that out of young players . You see how someone like Robben has developed, he had similar issues with running into deadends and piss-poor at crossing , but his style has matured under his managers.

Wenger might maximise a players qualities, but he does very little to improve a players weaknesses. ( in know here comes the what about Henry response.. save it)

Said ages ago about my suspicions about the cash reserves and recent events match up with them somewhat.

Not Arsenal related but Paddy's day got a nice fixture for football!

Spurs drew Dortmund while Liverpool drew Man Utd. in Europa League.
