Meteor on Twitter stating that the phone will only become available on March 11th (release date, obviously, but also I don't think they are doing a pre-order) and they have also said that neither online nor in-store will they be doing the VR Headset bonus.

    Gutted over that!

Wanted the VR Headset but too late to move to Three and get one. Also my Meteor contract isn't up til April so my chance was an early upgrade pre-order. Bugger.

Will have to wait til pay day in April and buy one separately.

Parcel Wizard have always been next-day delivery for me. Excellent service. ParcelMotel have gotten really poor lately.

Did you go with parcel wizard or address pal tech?

Prices available on Vodafone website now for pre-order...

Have upgrade, have phones to trade-in with them, so maybe I'll have to pull the trigger?

€479 on Red Essentials?? F that!

Think I'll just go buy the Xiaomi Mi 5 SIM free for less!

I left Vodafone because the value on their plans are abysmal. I was paying €75/month and still had to keep an eye on my data. Their early upgrades/upgrade every year are also the biggest con going.

    Pay €329.99 today on
    RED €55 per month
unlimited calls & texts to any network
    Includes…
    5GB data
    100 worldwide minutes
    100 worldwide texts
    4G
    24 month contract

Wow, that is a dreadful offer. How could they think they are competing with that nonsense. Thankfully it's unlimited calls and text, but come on, that mostly usual now considering the devices everyone uses.

5GB of data on a 5G connection is pointless. Even 15GB would be too low to consider it worth it, but still enough for most users.

Parcel Wizard. But both should be fine without issue.

I got to use both the S7 and S7 Edge today. Very very nice phones. Alot more reflective than the photos. Black looked plain. Seemed nice and fast and the edge is noticeably bigger than the S7.

Features wise, pretty much normal. Camera wouldn't work properly in this version for some reason, I'm assuming the OS was slightly locked down.

I wonder will they release a 5.5" regular at some point, not too keen on the edge?

Closest you'll get is the Note at the end of the year, I'd say.

Cracking looking phone that. Any idea the best place to import would be?

No idea, but if you find out,let me know! My brother lives in Hong Kong, so might get him to send it over for me!

I may go with a Vodafone PAYG where I can get unlimited texts and 15GB for €10 out of the €20 top up. Seems to make a lot more sense.

Anyway, this thread is about the S7!

This thread is about the s7, but to mention the Mi 5.

Too small(note 4 users), battery too low, no card slot. Reasons why I didn't like the s6.

    Otherwise a fantastic phone.

Port number to 3 in March and pay Meteor for the one month left for breaking the contract. That way you can get phone on release date and free VR.

Personally I prefer Meteor over 3. If you went in to Meteor on release date I'm sure they'd let you take out new contract if you are in the last month.

I'm thinking this is what I'll do, I'll be looking for them to let me off two months, but I've been with Emobile on an unlimited package for a fairly long time.

Three said on Facebook yesterday that their limited supply of vr headsets were gone.

Weirdly in the meteor website it says I'm eligible for an upgrade now, but customer care said my contract is up in April. Have no worry I cited upgrade on release day with meteor, but the lack of vr is annoying.

vodafone are offering a wireless charger if you pre-order. I would be disappointed if I was staying with them

Had a go at ordering to see what happened. If you add the item to your basket at Samsung UK, then select to pay by PayPal, then you add the address and it has a drop down at the top this time to change to United Kingdom. Could add it then (in a very cramped way on the two lines! :D)

Cheers I'll have to try Friday morning.
Sorry earlier I had no coverage and it too ages to ask the question and you had it answered before I posted :)

One thing I forgot to check before I ordered, but S6 owners may be able to answer. Is the charger that comes with this a quick charge or do I need to buy one separately?

S6 Edge+ comes with quick charge

It's part of the hardware in the phone but you still need the quick charge transformer brick to get it to work don't you? Did it have that in the box?

I know the Note 4 had a quick charge charger included in the box. I'd imagine this would too.
