S.S.F.B What does it mean?

    I have a gaelic football medal from 1966 with S.S.F.B Eire og engraved on the back.
    Does anybody Know what ssfb stands for. Google gives up nothing

    There'd be a tendency for Irish to be used on GAA medals.

    "Sraith Sinsir" or "Sraith Soisir" could mean "Senior League" or "Junior League" for the first two letters.

    "F.B." is a bit of a mystery. F could be "Fé" meaning "under" but it's usually followed by a number as in Fé 21 or Fé 16.
