    Decent and comfortable game.

Not sure what to think of Lingard, some games he looks awful but his goal scoring record is decent. In 21 games he scored 5 goals and 3 assists. I remember him hitting post against City, Middlesbrough and Danish side in Europa.

He also missed some easy chances. Looks like his off the ball movement is very good to get into so many scoring positions.

I think he will be a fine squad player.

So the doubts on the following for Thursday..

    CBJ
    De Gea
    Lindgard

    Then this

    Rooney
    Basti
    Young
    Jones
    Rojo
    Shaw
    Darmian
    Fellaini
    Januzaj
    Valencia
    Shaw
    Keane

At least we are top of the league somewhere

    Van gaal out

    Let's not forget

Phases of terrible football through the season and the odd decent performance against let's face it poor competition can't keep him in a job imo

No way. We won 3-0 last night, it's all rosy again.

Wonder if United will look to recall James Wilson from loan today - LVG said he wasn't going to do so in the wake of Rooney's injury - but with Keane likely out for a while too (and Fellaini, who LVG described as our second most experienced forward) we really have no one to back up Martial.

    Agh lads c'mon
Its all going to turn around now
we're going stick loads past mitchellbrothers on Thursday and then beat Arsenal on Sunday and go on a run of wins....
    who am I kidding..
I'd take a couple of scrappy 1-0 wins in both games and get a 3 wins in a row scenario going
when have we last won 3 games in a row
My gosh how hard is it to even have to think that...

Decent last night but Cambridge are a League one side and a terrible one at that so a game we should be winning 3-0.

Next two games are going to be more difficult , team could be exausted by Sunday.

Surely he is going to call James Wilson back from loan this morning , it would be absolutely stupid not to do that we need him to play!!...then again this is LVG so more than likely he won't...he'll stick Smalling up front after his goal or worst....(Whispers) 'Depay'..

Grrrhhhh I hate him talking about other teams ffs Lois they are a Danish side that was put together for a few bags of chops compaired to ours we should be bearing them and should going into battle with a cocky swagger and enjoy the game.

But we will prob go in and pass pass pass pass pass shoot pass pass pass pass pass concede pass pass pass.

Cambridge are in League Two, but I'm not sure what that has to do with United. :pac:

Can make a decent team out of that. crazy that this amount of injuries happened again like last season.

has to be something in the training methods that is not helping the players.

The last 4/5 seasons actually, right back into Fergies time. So many different players and different coaches, its hard to understand why we have season after season with so many injuries.

Nothing official (or rumoured that I have seen).

He did state prior to the Euro game on Thursday last week that he wouldn't be recalling Wilson (after Rooney's injury was confirmed) but we have managed to lose another striker since then... so really we have to. Its got to be him or Rashford.

Don't know if Wilson could be added to the euro squad though - not sure on age/B list eligibility.

I'm surprised nobody has mistaken Shrewsbury for York City last night.

Feel very sorry for Keane. Gets a chance, looks ready to grab it with both hands, and then minutes later is a whisker away from scoring and injures himself in the process. The football Gods are harsh indeed.

you really have to ask questions about our medical approach at the club, this is the 5th year out of 7 that we have had an injury epidemic.

1 year is normal, 2 or 3 is bad luck, anything more is just bizzare, no other club has this level of injuries.

now, we have had alot of impact injuries but weve had multiple tears in the last 12 months and we also, have a huge amount of training injuries. its amazing that it appears that the intensity in the training appears to be higher than on the pitch.

what is even more interesting is we keep hearing how injury proned the players we sold last summer were, yet they have almost 200 appearances between them this season so far - the problem has just moved to other players.

When I think of York City all I can remember is that great Coca-Cola cup match from 1995. I remember the defeat well  At least we beat Shrewsbury. The York game is 2nd on my list of embarrassing defeats after the horror of the MK Dons trouncing  I'm sure there are others but I don't care to remember them now!

I'll have a charity bet with you, €10. You can name the charity.

United's best result tonight will be a 1 goal win margin.

Don't think you replied to this Homer, but I'm going to drop a 10 into St Michaels and I've set up a "buy a book bring a book" day next week in my office for them. They're running a campaign for it.

Opposition weren't up to much last night to be fair :)
