2004 2.0 tdci Mondeo opinions ?

    hi all going looking at a 04 mondeo later on , just wanted to know what are they like and what to look out for ? are they good on diesel etc , run by timing chain or belt , ?

    Very prone to clutch & dual mass flywheel issues as well as fuel injectors and pump.... 2.0 tdci engine is pretty agricultural but if it's been well maintained will do pretty big mileage. They're usually pretty cheap as market does be flooded with them as ex fleet cars

    I just know one thing about those from my buddy mechanic:

    This are cheap now, but if investors or something else goes it's works out same money to scrap car and get another same one.
    He got burned himself by one and a client or two.
    Take it for what's it with to you.
