An elderly relative has an 01 Toyota Yaris Mk1 5 door which has recently started to accumulate water in the boot, enough to have a small puddle in the spare wheel well and soak the carpets. They had it checked by a local mechanic (not a Toyota specialist) who said it was coming from the sunroof and running back to the boot. I think the sunroof was original equipment, its glass that slides into the rook and also tilts. The sunroof looks fine to me but it wasn't raining when I had a chance to check, and won't see the car again for a few weeks.

Any pointers as to where to start looking?

Rear light clusters - their gaskets actually. 99.999% leaks go from there.

Thanks, I'll check them when I see the car again.
