Hell of a kick in that wind

Great kick! Nice to see him be the difference on scoreboard in a positive sense.

Seeing that tactic become more and more common. Pretend to commit to ruck and jump out of way when player comes to clear out.
clever as a lot of teams flop over it when attacking anyway.

Very fortunate advantage there. Rarely given once it's kicked away.

    Conways tackle was ROGestic

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Did Conway really get his head in the right position in that tackle?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Williams on for TOL now. I thought TOL had a decent game, until the yellow.

We look so much more threatening when TOL plays at pace

    Cronin you wally.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

What happened there? Have sound off.

    Looked incredibly harsh on Cronin.

Potential game changing decisions from the ref.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,256 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

That was unbelievably stupid from Munster. What the hell were they doing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

That was shocking defence by Munster to give away that turnover. BP now for Glasgow.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

    Ah f*ck.

why did they not just kick long there?

No clear release from the tackle but why run it when you have a gale behind you.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Running it from there. Williams should be shot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Why try to move it and play it under your own posts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Munster need to hang on to this BP now.

Great decision making from Williams there. FFS

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

This game could be a case study for how not to play when you're in the lead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,623 ✭✭✭eigrod

stupid decision when deep in their territory

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

Feel a little sorry for Keatley there. Munster are getting blown away close to the ruck.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

    Are you Sergio in disguise?

That DG hadn't a hope. Desperation. Need to hang on to the ball.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 353 ✭✭gazump123

That was never on in these conditions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Munster look wrecked. Glasgow look like they could go another 80.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

    Frustrating stuff

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Backs were never lined up for any attacking lines before theDG. SWEETNAM was almost level with the ruck on his wing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Lucky escape there for Munster....thought they were in again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Taxi for Strauss. Has been full of energy but multiple costly errors.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

    Scrum on roller skates

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

What a cowardly end to the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,623 ✭✭✭eigrod

Only themselves to blame. Won clean lineout when in the lead but couldn't secure it and then shot themselves in the foot trying to run it after getting possession back.

Good performance by Munster to the a BP.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

Wtf? Stupid decision not to kick to the corner.

That present Munster team are only a shadow of the team of 3/4 years ago. New blood badly needed.

Did Glasgow lack the balls at the end or is someone's arithmetic rubbish?

    Score?

Fairly entertaining considering the conditions. Good advert for the 4G pitch imo.

How are Munster fixed for the playoffs now, that's a lot of losses in the league.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

I said I would take an LBP and Munster got one.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Glasgow celebrating says a lot about their mentality. 3 tries and a penalty 5m out in closing seconds. Complete lack of ambition or intelligence. Even if Weir made the kick, Munster had a BP.

It was all to gain by going for the try.

They had the 5 points. The way the lead has changed hands and defence has been "optional" it was the pragmatic decision. Use the minute and take the kick.

Game over. Deserved win for Glasgow

And again we show that we can't hold onto a lead. Really frustrating but we do have some positives to hang on to
