Need to stop alarm beeping

Alarm driving me mad. Moved into house dec 2015. Phonewatch was out of contract and alarm is beeping intermittently. Eircom want to charge huge money to have engineer to call out and remove battery. Can someone please help. I do not wish to be in contract with phonewatch.Thanks
