I am a software developer for 10 years now. What if I want to look for different field in IT, say QA, business analyst etc. What reason to give in interview that is why change from software developer to QA?
And currently my cv highlights my work as software developer. How to alter for say QA or support role?
Would really appreciate your advice. I am lost for the reason to change to give in interviews.

Dev to QA or support is a big step down, usually. Why the change? Understanding your motivation will help tailor a better answer.

I am just finding it hard to keep up with the amount of varied knowledge you need for senior position in development. Hence looking for change in QA or support. I am still continuing my search in development but back of my mind think about QA or support.

Would you be willing to take a pay cut etc. to go there? Because if so you could play the "changes in private life with (baby/wife/sick parent/commute)" as a reason.

Not really. Nowadays job roles are fairly fluid and one can go from writing / testing depending on the needs of the job at hand. It would show a level of flexible in skillsets and give a more rounded picture of the SDLC.
