Hi, this may be a strange question since most people want to increase their credit limit.... but is there a way I could apply for a standard credit card and specify a low credit limit (ie €600). This would be and additional CC, my main CC has a limit of 4K but I do not want to give my wife access to this card (shopaholic tendencies).

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

    Hi jv2000,

Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.

In this instance your wife will need to apply for her own Credit Card separately with us and we will then apply a limit on her card based on her application. If she wishes to have a lower limit than what is applied to the card, she can certainly request this from our Credit Card team. You can find more information on the Credit Cards we offer here.

If you wish to speak with our Credit Card team we will be happy to arrange a call to you or your wife to discuss further. Please let us know in a Private Message here by clicking on the link in my signature below.

Please let us know if we can help with any other query.

    Thanks,
    Sarah
