    The only surfing movie I can remember aside from point break is the much older Big Wednesday. But I don't remember the fellas in it having anything to do with construction.

    Correct. And I don't care what anyone says. The mad max films are some of the campest movies ever made. The baddies running around with arse less chaps and their boyfriends on a chain. Even the recent one is as camp as Xmas.
