Hi, Does anybody know if there are any plans to recruit prison officers in Ireland any time in the near-future? When was the last recruit - 2007/2008?!

I think they might be recruited through the general competition for clerical positions in the public service?

it will be later this year id imagine. they will be filling positions in house first though
