How to connect up washing machine ....

12-02-2016 03:52PM#1Howdy folks, I want to move the washing machine to a detached utility room out the back for space purposes. Ain't got the moola at the moment for a plumber so going to attempt it myself

The soil pipe is almost flush with the ground. Question is how do i connect a 2 inch standpipe to it.....Is there an adaptor that will plug the 100mm soil pipe?

You can get a 4in rubber Bing with a 1 1/2in hole cut out in it for that very purpose

Dammit ...could have saved myself a few quid there. Thanks for the reply but i went for the one on ebay.
Ah well.
Regarding the 2 pex lines that are capped ....
I presume isolating under the sink will shut off one of them and shutting the cold feed to the cylinder and draining via opening the hot taps for a while should relieve the pressure from the other. I want to fit two isolation valves prior to them going to the washing machine.0
