Yesterday morning while driving to work in very slow moving traffic, a flurry of movement caught my eye in the rear view mirror.
So I looked back and seen that the lady in the car behind me was brushing her teeth! Brushing her teeth in the car.
Then, immediately after brushing, she lit a cigarette, and smoked it without holding in her hand. She only used her hand once or twice to tap some ash out the window and ultimately to throw the butt out the window.
Then, I was amazed. She started to brush her teeth again!
My trivial annoyances from this:
1. She is brushing her teeth while driving (well, sitting in traffic)
2. She let most of her ciggie ash just drop all over herself
3. This is the most important one....where was she spitting while brushing!!!!

Late reply, but can't sympathise more. I went for a relatively basic but handy enough job as a service officer in the Civil Service last year - spent a week writing & tweaking with the application form to get it as well written as possible, another week prepping for the interview I got, then €200 on a badly needed suit. Also figured being in the Army Reserve would stand to me a huge amount, and the interview went very well. Got the rejection email a week later. Fking livid I was.
That's crap alright

I had to take a bus this morning because of those self-entitled, over-paid lever pushing fúckers and all the annoyances of ghosts of buses past came back to haunt me. The skag standing right beside me puffing on her cancer stick, the fact that the RTI said due in 10 minutes and then 6 minutes later said "due in 8 minutes" and so on so that eventually a bus that was due in ten minutes took twenty minutes to arrive. The fact that there was nobody at the stop for ages and then a couple of minutes before the bus arrived they all started appearing from nowhere. Fúcking rent a crowd - I'm convinced there was someone at the back of the bus stop in a van just offloading randomers. No concept of queuing of course.
I did manage to play a few mind games with cancer stick lady while she sat on the seat though. I was standing out near the road and could see if anything was approaching, so every minute or so I would move out towards the kerb a little bit and take my leap card out of my pocket and look into the distance and then she would leap up in a panic thinking the bus was approaching

You know that job that I thought I messed up because I couldn't answer the phone well I finally got a call back and I nearly messed it up again. Your man introduced himself from company x and my reply was 'yes I applied for a job there'.
It threw him a bit and he stuttered but he recovered. I'm just so cold I can't think. I have no idea how I'm meant to answer phones all day when I can hardly carry a phone conversation without saying something stupid. :pac: I was on the phone to an insurance company a few days ago and it was a long call (40 mins). At the end of it I was wrecked and did say something stupid at the end. 0 -
