Does this count for online vendors? How will I get my 100mls for 15 quid now?

Yes it does and simply put - you probably won't anymore :(

Decent post here about the new regulations as well as comment on the inconsistencies of some of them: http://www.cremedevape.com/Blog/The-future-of-vaping-changes-in-May-2016

Maximum size of 10ml for e-liquid bottles -
This is clearly going to be a major problem for all sorts of reasons, not least because it makes it a much more expensive and inconvenient way to purchase and store e-liquid since it’s customary for many vapers to use 5 or 10ml or even more, per day. It’s completely at odds with regulators’ desire to reduce waste and promote a green agenda in every other area of our lives.
Some commentators have indicated they suspect this size limit is so the products can be very easily taxed per bottle at a later date although the regulators state that this limit was set with user safety in mind, to reduce the possibility of serious effect should someone accidentally or purposefully drink a bottle of e-liquid. We find it strange that the same type of restriction has not been applied to other readily available products that could be equally or much more dangerous than e-liquid if ingested orally. No-one’s ever seen fit to limit purchases of bleach to a thimbleful or limit the maximum bottle size for alcoholic spirits to the equivalent of a couple of units worth. It’s even more nonsensical when you consider that this very same TPD legislation has done the exact opposite of this restriction for cigarettes, in banning their sale in packs of fewer than 20 cigarettes to make them less appealing and less affordable to children.

I love conspiracy thoeries, the more outlandish the better. Here's one to ponder.
Would our Masters in Europe and our devoted Government be really worried about our health and well being with this TPD lark?
    or
Would they with BIG TOBACCO be more worried about the loss of revenue from tax?
I know which one i'd go for
The UK seem to be taking a lukewarm approach to all of this and reading info on some UK vaping forums they see it as a knee jerk approach by the EU without proper consultation on e cigs. After aLl Public Health UK, which is a government dept., have recommended
that e cigs should be available on the NHS as a smoking alternative
Finally will nicotine patches and nicotine gum and tablets be controlled by the TPD? I dou

It is not and never has been about public health.
Its about the gravy train and the collective will to not have it derailed.
Cut down on lung cancer? Who wants that?
Especially when it means tobacco tax revenue and pharma tax revenue is threatened.

The vaping revolution is quite possibly the most important paradigm shift in decades. We have in our hands here an extremely effective mechanism to greatly reduce or eliminate tobacco smoking harm, and instead of embracing it and pushing it, our 'leaders' are instead terrified of its impact on tax revenue. Thats not even including the corrupt officials who are directly or indirectly under the employ of tobacco or pharma (who are united in the war against vaping). This TPD is a collective proof of the corruption in motion.
I believe not a single one of the eurocrats voted against this ridiculous legislation.
And they'll be questioned should they knock on my door.

Well said and agree totally with every sentiment, what will also be interesting is how many of the canvassers will actually know what the TPD is and the consequences it is going to have on people who have taken the decision whether for health or financial reasons to move from cigarettes to e cigs.
And unfortunately yes the bottom line will always be "the revenue that we can collect" from this new sensation, whereas they should be spending on educating people as to the benefits of making the transition from cigs to e cigs.

Best price in Ireland is probably Efag for both,€65 the Rx and €55 the Evic, minus the 10% discount also.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 889 ✭✭✭morritty

I havent seen it cheaper than Efag, except for china, who still are not back from their new years holiday, which will have a massive back log and shippers will have a lot to send out so it's possible you may not see it until april. For the extra 25-30 quid, you are probally better off buying it here.

On that note, i put an order though with FT for things like drip tips, tweezers, clapton coils and battery rewraps. not to be shipped for another 10 day at least, who knows when the hell i'll see those.

I thought it was starting in January and they have till May? Could be wrong though.

My business plan is to sell big bottles of Bubble Bath with nicotine as a disinfectant and lovely aromas to sooth the senses. Not for human consumption of course. ;)

Got 500ml of 72mg/l from everythingliquid today. Think it might have been a bit too much though.... Still only cost about the same as 4 packs of smokes so I'm not doing too bad!

I'd love to see them try that.
The nicotine content is the basis for their whole bullsh1t plan, if theres no nic, theres no tax.
It would be akin to them demanding road tax for a toy car, or a TV licence for a smartphone.

Nope, not sure if it's in force yet but when Pat Rabbitte was Minister he wanted every device in a home that could broadcast a tv signal to be covered by the licence fee.
