That's a bit of a pain alright. I was locked out of my account for a while a couple of days ago. Several password resets failed to fix it. I left it and eventually was able to log in again the following day. You're not alone going by the feedback forum. Lots of people still having problems. Hopefully the boards hamsters can get on top of things soon.
Was completely locked out after my previous post.

Had to change my password and still need to use the "f12 / bstatic in new tab / change url to boards.ie" to connect to the proper site.

At least it looks like working normally again after 10 days of successive crashing on my behalf.

Day in Court for me today. A witness involving a Traveller and a gun posession charge in which he dropped the gun in my garden.

Absolutely bricking it but have to do the right thing and say what i saw.

Aaarrrggghh, stag weekend that involved a poor score in a game we can't talk about here has me shook. Still not right after both.

I know your pain. Off the gargle for January, so went bananas on Saturday night. Can't remember 1) the round of golf on Sunday morning 2) ANY of the superbowl Sunday night or 3) where I left my keys.

Only made the SB because I fell asleep for 7hrs after golf. Only know I went Golfing cos I forgot my golf shoes and played in a pair of red runners, and half my toes are still red from the dye.

Been feeling like a boiled sh1te all week.

Yep, you'll definitely end up in The Three Sisters at some stage.

I live there/here. What sort of thing are you looking to do? Last games of the season early April Hearts v Aberdeen wouldn't be the worst match to go see.

Was hoping to catch a game, will have to check the fixtures. After that it'll be all drinking. Have heard a lot of good things about Edinburgh so hopefully it'll be good.

Got flights and hotel for €140 each for 2 nights. Hard to argue with that!

Friday the 8th is the last Hearts game but Hibs have a few after that if you don't mind dipping into the Championship! €140 for hotel and flights is unreal! Are you in the City Centre? From the airport there is a tram but the bus is actually quicker and cheaper.

600m from the City Centre according to Expedia.

We'll be there the weekend of 18/19. Hibs at home to Falkirk. Might be worth a visit.

Having a deep-fried Mars bar is top of my to do list. :D

Jaysus it wouldn't be a trip to Scotland without one of those bad boys! Cafe Picante is the place to go for that at the weekends it's a chipper with a dj! What sort of drinking places you looking for? Edinburgh is meant to have the most pubs and restaurants per person in the UK so there's a ton of going out options! If you like the Galway Bay Brewery places there's a ton of that sort of thing here.

TBH, we're not fussy. Once we have a few decent beers and whiskies, we'll be happy. Galway Bay Brewery looks like a nice place to spend an evening. We'll probably play it by ear in terms of where we go, a plan never works with us lot.

What's it like with scumbags? Also, what are the pub and nightclub closing hours?

Never felt as safe anywhere as here even at stupid o'clock at the weekend I've not seen any trouble no doubt it happens but nowhere near the frequency of Dublin. We were living in D1 before here though so maybe we're a bit more oblivious to it now! Closing times are a joke you would want to research some late bars before you go as you'll find a lot of places close pretty early even at the weekend even places that target the party crowd will close at 1 or 2.

Any decent hotels you'd recommend? I'm going over for a stag in June and we're looking into booking somewhere at the minute. I haven't looked myself but the lad organising it said places are expensive.

During the Summer its wall to wall big festivals and the prices go nuts. What sort of stag is it going to be? The best value place is probably going to be Ibis Royal Mile it'll still be around £100/night though but you're surrounded by places that cater for Stags. If you're willing to bunk up together then there is a ton of hostels where you could all stay in the same room and it'll cost way less.

One where we drink a lot! There'll be very little activities bar going to the pub to watch sport. I stayed in the Apex International last time I was in Glasgow. About €250 each for the two night stay but some hotel. 24 hour bar that people queued to try and get into at night.

Priced it now though and it's €800 for two nights for the weekend we want!

Jaysus it would want to be some weekend! How about a Stay City apartment? Makes it better for drinking as you don't need to worry about annoying people in other rooms so much.

Stay City (staycity.com) are a chain of apartments around Europe worth looking at nice places they have upto 4 bed places so can handle a big group in one apartment. Might work out a bit cheaper too!
