They dont do that much for my R1.:(
Although not much more carbon I can put on the R1 at this stage.

They do a few nice bits and bobs for the 996 though.
Might give them a call or an email and see what their best prices would be on some pieces for the 996.:)

I fitted the side stand from the ''S'' model. Much better after lowering the bike. Also fitted fork protectors from the Triumph 900 and they fit the Honda perfect. Next mod will be crash bars and spotlight & DRL's when the funds allow.

Some more R+G goodies bolted on today.

Just got to drill 50mm hole in each of the carbon frame protectors now.
This is to fit the lower frame crash bungs.

They look savage goodlad. Got a pic on the bike or does it still have parts off it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,731 ✭✭✭goodlad

I just put them onto the bike there. Tis too dark to nab a good picture though.

Collecting the cowl and hangar from the hydro dip place tomorrow and hopefully my decals for the bike fairing will be here tomorrow too.

Once I have all the mods done I will throw up a few pictures.
Pretty much everything is here just waiting to go onto the bike. Only outstanding parts are the fz1n back part of the lever housings on the bars. The N model housings have mirror clamps built onto them and i want to put Z1000 mirrors into my bike and block off the fairing mirrors.

Fitted a new rectifier to the Funduro. The plan is with serious3 to make a plate to go outside so the rectifier doesnt overheat again.

Also fixed the horn, was lost without it

Just need to find a good painter now to paint this new screen like the existing oem screen.

Anyone know a good painter/graphic guy?:)

Thanks Stewy. Seemingly the stock seat is not great for long rides. My commute is 50 mins long so its fine for me. There are crash bungs but they are expensive. I know the argument about the initial outlay on crash bungs could save you alot more in comparison to bike damage but when the funds allow my next upgrade will be DRL's & LED spot lights.

Fitted new Conti TKC 70's. One of the best tyres I have used. Got them through Crossans, roughly the same price as Oponeo
