    wouldnt it be fair to say that the existing members of CIRA were at one point in thier past also IRA and or SInn Fein members also ?

    So because of the claims our dear leader tied SF with the attack directly.

    Gerry Adams has had to release a statement distancing SF from the attack.

    Just as an aside, you ask why would the CIRA care about SF in the south.

    Here's a quote from Adams that might clarify it for you.

    "Incidentally, the same group has me and other Sinn Fein reps under active death threat. This was confirmed to me by the PSNI in recent months."
