Cool hand Luke. I cried when I was younger as I thought Luke had killed himself by eating too many eggs. Remember the guards with the sun glasses too.

Ah, never saw Cool Hand Luke. Here was me thinkin Rocky Balboa was the sole owner of eating raw eggs on the silver screen!!

    They Live?

You know that was a fun movie. Rowdy roddy was quite the lad and he really kicked ass with those glasses.

    They Live?

Not the one I had in mind.

Coincidentally, the soundtrack for that just popped up on YouTube. Been listening to John Carpenter tunes all evening!

    I can't believe nobody's got this yet:

Some chaps far from home have lost a lot of their friends and are a bit isolated. The holy man is drunk, and what's that noise in the distance? A train, perhaps?

Hint #1: When the chips are really down, sing!

Hint #2: Not Malik's thin red line

Hint #3: Stanley takes charge, and Michael decides to... "co-operate, as they say".

    The Deer Hunter?

    Hint #4: Taunting? Or saluting?

    This is a puzzler.

    This one has me flummoxed.

I guess I'm being too cryptic. It's on every Christmas, but isn't a Christmas movie. Because of where it was made, most of the extras couldn't be paid in cash, because of their skin colour.

A really decent man with dreams of building bridges but whose life takes a different turn due to circumstances beyond his control is nearly undone by his arch nemesis Potter. But there is salvation in the form of a simple old man who saves him in return for some wings...as he's very hungry for them.😉
