Thought it was earlier than that. Either way, this whole new Chinese aspect will have a real impact on the game, pretty much no such thing as a safe player anymore between China and the MLS...

Will make things more interesting going forward

Was probably known before then, just went through officially on the 27th.

    Yeah certainly changes things up.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

SL Benfica beat Liverpool 2 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

Valencia and Fernández were amongst the goalscorers.

First win of the season :D

2-0 away win over Chelsea, very happy with that.

2-1 win for Anzhi, not a great game for either keeper considering there were only 3 shots on target the whole match

1 nil loss to Spartak Moscow making it 1 point from 5 now! What has gone wrong? Haven't changed tactics or players and its all gone belly up!

Good news is I'm unbeaten so far this season.

Bad news is it's one win and the rest all draws! :(

Crap away form continues as we go down 2 1 to Anzhi.

Pedro out for 2 weeks too :(

As I said before the worst part of this is all off the back of a property bubble over there, it could feckin pop anytime between now and 10 years time, at least the Middle Eastern countries have oil for the foreseeable.

The likes of the Chinese clubs will end up doing a Leeds Untied times a 100.

Then again, I'd say it could get rid of the mercenary players in Europe who don't give a ****. I'd say poor Tottenham Hotspur must be frantically ringing round every Chinese club about Emmanuel Adebayor :D

You still have more points than me tho, :(

Iv had a shocking start, it's like the 1st 3 seasons all over again, a draw next match and then in game 7 a win!!!

I love the fact folk are bitchin about China flexing it's financial muscle in the footy market.

It's great for the English league to have the most obscene amount of money in world sport to splurge across it's clubs, but god forbid the commies would get in on the act. Remarkable.

In other news, first point of the season tonite vs Ajax. The revolution starts here!!!

I think you misunderstand.... it's not in RL terms we (I assume most feel the same) are bothered, it's SM related.

    It's a SM ratings graveyard!!!!!

Yeah, couldn't care less who goes to China ... as long as it doesn't interfere with my SM team(s)... :p

Barcelona beat SSC Napoli 1 - 0 in their Division 1 fixture.
Ronaldo had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.
Herrera was on the scoresheet for his side.

You may say it's hight for a fusted blush, but it's not that much more than he's on at the moment. He's the second highest paid player in England (the highest paid is an even bigger joke). Pep will be getting rid so he may as well get a final pay day.
