Unless my mind is playinhg tricks on me ... a rare win over Arsenal for me ... winning goal by a Spurs player ;)

FC Porto beat Arsenal 1 - 0 in their Division 1 fixture.
Bentaleb scored the winner for FC Porto and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

SL Benfica slumped to a 2 - 1 defeat against SSC Napoli in their Division 1 fixture.

Džeko scored the only goal for SL Benfica and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

1 point from the opening 4

Aims for the season: avoid setting a record low points total

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

A come from behind win against Udinese.

Feared the worst going down to a very early Shaqiri goal but illaramendi and dragovic goals get us our second win in Division 2.

Now to try and open our goal scoring account away from home......

Oh great it's only last seasons play-off runners up Anzhi next :(

Division 2, the division that keeps on giving!!

Panathinaikos beat Celtic 4 - 0 in their Division 3 fixture.
Meier had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.
Douglas, Koo and Lemoine were amongst the goalscorers.

4/4 so far and yet we're 6th from bottom in attendance, tough crowd to please. Newcastle up next to inject some reality into us

1-0 win vs Leverkusen, even without Messi...

Thank god I have him available for the next game then!

    There was and there wasn't...

There was a call for me not to play Messi but nothing mentioned about Griezmann or Laporte (strange that.......) I said no bother if my players don't play, Messi won't.

So, that's the end of that, I said I wouldn't and I didn't. In fairness to Mac he never agreed, it was a somewhat overly enthusiastic third party whom insisted on it. I made good, but my conditions were not met....

    Unlucky man

With China having gone through and still kinda in its own Celtic Tiger mode, it will be interesting to see what will happen should it burst like over here in the West, be tough to be paying those big wages then!

Will it be considered a strong league if they keep hoovering up talent from around the world?

They won't consider it a strong league on SM for a very very long time....

If your player ends up there it's pretty much a drop zone!

My guess is unless the Chinese national team start qualifying for World Cups, winning AFC titles then no - regardless of who is playing there

Didn't realise Guarin had moved, balls. Had been very close to selling him in the close season before the other manger changed their mind.

He's gone ages I think? Wasn't he one of the first big names, with Gervinho

27th jan according to that image. I haven't been paying a massive amount of attention to transfers this window.

Thought it was earlier than that. Either way, this whole new Chinese aspect will have a real impact on the game, pretty much no such thing as a safe player anymore between China and the MLS...

Will make things more interesting going forward
