French Doors - Cold Bridging?

I have a set of solid wood french doors, but the door saddle section of the frame is aluminium.

The room they are in is colder, relatively speaking, than the rest of the house. There is an issue with condensation on the aluminium frame, bad enough to cause mold growth on the curtains in front of the door.

The aluminium section is both external and internal, so I assume it is some form of cold bridging.

Is there anything I can do to reduce or prevent this from happening.

I have the same problem with an aluminium patio door from our dining room out to the garden. Water streams off it. So would welcome seeing anybody's solutions.

OK, so trawling around the google machine, it would seem that I need a thermal break, but I haven't been able to find a retrofit solution. Could I just cut the door saddle along the centre andfit something like the rubber strips you screw to the bottom of doors to prevent draughts.

@wait4me, this solution probably won't work for your situation, but I have come across suggestions that you fill the door frame with expanding foam. I can't comment on the efficacy or practicality of this, but maybe somebody on here might
