In answer to the other thread, which cities (that you've been to) draw you back?

    I love Edinburgh.

    Cork

Again and again and again and again.

They could wipe out every other city in the world, every other area, just leave Cork city, west Cork and South Kerry, and it wouldn't bother me.

    Krakow.

Amazing architecture with old castle walls around the city centre in parts and other parts are now grass areas.

Great nightlife, beautiful women, cheap beer.
Auschwitz isn't far away and has other attractions like the salt mines and schinders factory.

    Las Vegas

Didn't get to see all of the best attractions in my week there. Simply amazing nightlife. It has a hobo problem but they were mostly really nice. Except for the one who called my brother a f*ggot for ignoring him lol.

    Liverpool

As a Liverpool fan it's a no brainer why I love it. Aside from the football, they all seem to be part Irish and just like the above two, the nightlife is amazing.

    Paris.

We've recently come back from our first visit and loved it so much, we're already planning another visit later this year. Wonderful city.

    Matsumoto.

Lived there for a year and would love to live there again.

Living in the shadow of the Japanese alps, with loads of fantastic places to visit and great food.

I've been to Liverpool three times and I've loved it each time. It is so much fun. I'd love to go back again.

I'll forever return to London too. I lived there for 3 years and made some life long friends so I love visiting.

Hanoi. Busy, dizzy, foodie, dirty, mad, traffic, chaos, bamboo, dodgy, honest, amazing smells, disgusting smells, street food, markets, oasis of calm, people bikes, lights... Would love to go back.

(sounds like I'm boasting about being "well traveled"!)

Cork could even possibly win an all Ireland hurling final.

    Paris.

Loved every second. I can't wait to go back. I remember sitting on the steps on the Pantheon looking out and being able to see the Eiffel Tower and my whole body, mind and soul felt light. I can't remember the last time I felt that way. It was the most content I've ever felt in my life. So Paris will always remind me of that amazing feeling.

San Francisco. Lived there during my J1 and fell in love with the place. I go back every few years.

Paris. Yes, the suburbs are horrible and Parisians can be snooty/arrogant but the city is a gem.

London - great vibe, great buzz.
    Rome - magnifico!

Pros: Great night life, clubs open until all hours, half naked women in windows to leer at, cheap cigarettes, reliable and cheap transport system and Schiphol airport is one of the best.

Cons: A lot of the taxi drivers are rip off merchants, agree a price before you get in! Shit food and service. Too many Brits. Twats on bikes everywhere, was nearly killed a few times, these fuckers won't get out of your way.

Hong Kong. Wanted to go since I was about 3 and finally made it there for a big family holiday in 2007 and it didn't disappoint. Went just after Christmas so it was still all lit up at night. I loved every minute.

Paris. Went a couple of times as a child, and also spent my honeymoon there so it has a special place in my heart.
