I usually get a longing for crisps after drinking. Hotdogs are great too.

A good sausage is nice after a drink alright ;)

Not at all, tuna (in sunflower oil) was my preferred food when coming home after a booze fueled night. It was such a habit that my mother knew well to put a can and can opener on the kitchen table before going to bed on a saturday night, so i wouldn't wake up the whole family rummaging through the drawers.

It's so oily and salty that you won't be hungover the next day!

    I don't drink beer.

But I will say curry chips.

God willing, a hairy kebab... Or bald, I'm not fussy.

But seriously, large donor kebab(with everything) onion bhaji and also tikki, Can of coke from tasty Hut Dorset St, a seriously filling and tasty feed for less than a tenner.

Followed by falling asleep on one of the benchs in drumcondra (I'm not even messing, it's happened so often, it's embarrassing.)

Vol au vents followed by soup, then some oysters before a black peppered veal steak. The some apple tart and custard.

I don't be hungry after a feed of drink.
I made the mistake of getting a burrito a few months ago while in Galway and as delicious as it was, it was far too much food and far too filling.
I was reacquainted with it some hours later.

I have to eat something before bed after drinking. Usually eat a massive sandwich when home along with 3 pints of water. Try to stay away from takeaway but if I'm with a friend and he suggests it he won't even finish that sentence before I say yes hahaha.

Curry is good. Or chips and ... or kebab.

Basically anything which is usually the problem. I'm sure if I could go out and resist the temptation of stuff I wouldn't normally touch, I'd be a lot better the next day :(

I'm no expert but you're probably pregnant :p

Then I will have a lot of explaining to do with my OH. Do you think she will accept that it's an immaculate conception? :p

Last night I had garlic cheese fries from Supermacs in Athlone. I'm not proud of it. But mother of Jesus they were delicious after a load of Guinness and Whiskey :o

I got one from a chinese in Bray recently and it was disgusting. Like someone had tipped half a container of salt into the bag. Way way too salty. Haven't tried once since. Must suss out a chipper version next

They really are a higher quality, more authentic tortilla. And 75c or whatever.

The 75cent ones are Tesco brand, the Everday Value range are actually about 20cent dearer.

This is a very serious subject, we need to get our facts right (both better than Doritos)

The Aldi ones are luuuuvly. Especially the cheesey ones.

I used to have garlic chips back in the Auld Sod when I lived there but here you can generally eat and drink in most bars. I really don't know why Irish bars don't serve little snacks that they could charge a quid or two for; it's part of the secret of not getting absolutely baloobafied, you don't end up having to pick kebab out of your bra the following morning and bars could make a bit more money.

The chipper after the pub was always great craic, though... *homesick moment*

Can't beat the drunk macdonalds order:

Big Mac meal with coke and a bbq sauce
    Quarter pounder with cheese
6 chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce
    Double cheeseburger
    Twisty fries

I eat about a sixteenth of it but when I'm ordering I really think I'm that hungry!

It used to be kcs in Douglas, but I moved out of cork! This thread has brought on the first feeling of missing the place since I moved...

Forget about the beer, all the food in this thread makes my mouth water, wouldn't mind takeaway now but no delivery in the countryside...

For the love of god can we stop mentioning KC's in Douglas,I'm pissed up at the mo,in Dublin, and what I wouldn't do for a transilvanian and a pig in the spuds!

Normally get a salad burger from a local takeaway of mine, they most always are done fresh and you get a generous shake of free chips thrown in with it.

I try to not order too much after a heavy night out but it can be hard with the false hunger you get after too much drink.

A donor kebab with no onions (they are the devil) or a large garlic cheese chip.
Failing both of those, whatever I see first.

    Mmmm. Kebab.

I'm not getting the kebab love. I've ate in Turkey and Berlin (where Döner Kebab was invented) and I've never even thought about messy, dirty kebabs
