What's the best way to invoke their help?

Try and search for the missing games through the xbox store. It might give you an option to download them from there.

I did, and it offers me a 10% discount to purchase ("Better with EA Access"), but not the free installation I was looking for.

I ended up contacting EA Help, they have an online chat. After 10 minutes, during which the game advisor consulted with a specialist, they said I need to contact Microsoft, as they do not offer support for EA Access.

Have you tried to restart the Xbox JoyPad?

it might kick in the entitlements after a restart.

Tap left on the front screen, go down to the settings cog and pick Restart Xbox.

Signed up for EA Access last night, downloaded their app and had a peek at the Vault. However, I don't see all the games they advertise on their site as being in the vault. For example, I saw all the sports games, NFS Rivals, and the two kids games, but no Battlefield, no Titanfall.

I initially thought it might not show any games rated 16 or above, but upon restarting the application, I was given the option to play the Battlefront trial, which is rated 16, same as Titanfall.

Anyone else seen something like this?
Do you have parental controls activated on the Xbox?

Do you have parental controls activated on the Xbox?

That's what I was thinking might be the cause.

I am the parent of a 12yo. I've set it so that he is not shown games rated 16 or above. With that activated, he needed my permission to play Halo 5. I logged in with my account to give that permission.

His account is also set to not allow purchases, and I log in with my account for those as well.

    But:
    1. I was definitely signed in with my own account to purchase EA Access subscription.
    2. Why would it show me Battlefront (rated 16), but not others?

I'll have another look when I get home tonight. It was pretty late last night when I did the stuff, and didn't have much time to peek around.

From the few times I've gone into it I have noticed that EA Access app is quite buggy and has frozen temporarily each time I've used it.

Any joy with it last night, JoyPad?

Yep. I went and removed restrictions from my son's account, and that fixed it. After starting the downloads, I re-enacted the restrictions.

Have loved EA access since I signed up to it almost a year ago - just wondering - does anyone have any inkling when there will be new games in the Vault -
From what I remember they were going to add one a month - or maybe its just my imagination :-)

I'm thinking that games like Fifa16 should be going in there soon. What do people think ?

I'd be hoping to see Rory PGA Tour soon enough, Fifa 16 is probably a few months away (Fifa 15 was added in May, would guess similar for 16)

I mainly play soccer games such as Pro Evo and fifa but I still haven't used my 10 hours of fifa :P Went back playing it for 10 minutes recently and had to turn it off. What a shocking game!

Sorry went a bit off topic there.... :P

EA access is brilliant alright. Haven't even got to play most of the free games but I've played a small bit of battlefield and need for speed.

Going by last year, FIFA 15 went in about April / Easter timeframe. Enough to get people on board around the end of the season and squeeze out some extra Ultimate Team points :)

I'd agree that Rory McIlroy PGA Tour seems the most likely to go into the Vault next, before FIFA.

I don't think they said that it would be monthly - that was Microsoft talking about adding new Backwards Compatible games - but they did say once games went in that the plan was that they would stay there.

There was some talk online that EA might look to use their back catalogue of Xbox 360 titles as a way to pad out the vault, which is fine by me, because there are quite a few good games in there that I haven't played yet. I'd say they just need to work out how to do the licencing of the games technically (so you lose access if you're no longer an EA Access subscriber).

Maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to find a good difficulty setting. The Rookie level is too easy, I win shutouts. Then Pro, the next level, is too damn hard. Attacking is difficult, but it's a nice challenge. Defending is impossible, the AI seems to convert every 3rd down if I'm ahead. I can only win if I manage to time my last attack to score as time runs out, and the game shouldn't be about that.

I must be getting old. I used to play on Madden level back in 2005.

    Note:

"The Play First Trial for Unravel includes the first two levels, and should take most players around two hours to complete without spoiling all of its surprises. You can play the trial for ten hours, though, if you want to spend some extra time searching for secrets and adventuring with Yarny."

Yeah, I reckon it's probably a short enough game that the 10 hours trial might see people be able to clear it.

Makes sense for the devs to restrict it. Though I'm sure there'll be a few angry :pac:

Only €20 to buy anyway, or €18 with the Access discount.

Another Xbox thing that got lost in the DDOS is that the free days Misky mentioned above are now available! If you are on the fence about EA Access, then this is a great way to see the incredible value it offers.

Any rough guestimate on when RMG golf makes it in? How long is a piece of string?

Newbie question. If you have previously downloaded a trail of a game, like madden 16 above, once it gets added to the vault do you have to do anything? Uninstall and re-download for example, or does it just automatically recognise it as being a vault title and you continue playing?

I'll admit I don't know for sure, but it should just work. Maybe you'll have to go in through the vault the first time to "register", but the trials are the same download as the full game, so I can't see it being a problem.

Ravel might be different though, but that's not out yet.
